The ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon in Trafford takes place on Sunday 19th April 2015, and registration to the UK’s flattest, fastest and friendliest marathon is open.

The ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon is your best race option if you want a new PB or to hit your target time next spring. Add in great entertainment around the superfast course, outstanding crowd support and a glorious finish, and you will see why the race was voted the UK’s “Best Marathon” by The Running Awards 2014. It also won the “Most Improved Race” at the Runner’s World Personal Best Awards this year.

With only 54m elevation gain the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon is flatter than Berlin, Paris, New York, Chicago and Hamburg, which makes it perfect if you are a first time marathoner, seeking a PB or a qualifying time. This fast course produces fast times: in 2014 the top 4 men all broke the magical 2:20 barrier and a huge number of runners set new PBs or broke their target times, with a large proportion of the UK’s fastest times this year run in Manchester.

The race starts and finishes near Manchester United Football Club in Old Trafford and incorporates the 2 Leg Half/Half, the 4 Leg Team Relay and the MLP Solicitors Corporate Entry.

Early bird places are available until 30th September. All finishers receive a medal and ASICS technical t-shirt.

You can also run for charity with Cancer Research UK, The Christie and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity the Official Charities for the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon 2015.
