Canterbury Half-Marathon

Don't miss your chance to run away with more than just your race entry when you enter the Pilgrims Hospices Canterbury Half-Marathon (May 23) online.

That's right, we're offering 50 runners (who enter before May 20) the chance to win a pair of tickets (RRP £20 each) to watch the Kent Spitfires v Scottish Saltires at St Lawrence Ground on May 31.

The Pilgrims Hospices Canterbury Half-Marathon attracts more than 1,000 runners each year, offering a tough but picturesque course through the North Downs countryside. Starting from the local rugby club, the route heads out along Merton Lane, charting through the villages of Petham and Waltham before heading home. Don't rule out the possibility of a fast time - the occasional steep climbs are thankfully offset by long sweeping downhill stretches.

I did enter online, I did win tickets, but unfortunately I never got them, my name was read out on the PA system as being a winner of a pair of tickets, it said they would be sent out in the post and I never got them, very disappointing.
