This year's Flora London Marathon Expo opens on Wednesday April 22 and runs until Saturday April 25. It's the essential destination for all of you counting down to the big day – without collecting your race number and timing chip from the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London's Docklands, you won't be able to run on Sunday.
Don't forget to take photographic identification with you (new this year) or, if you've nominated someone to collect your number, equip them will all the relevant documentation. For more information, check the Flora London Marathon website.
We'll be camped out at stand 130, so make sure you stop by and meet the team. Experienced Runner's World staff will be on hand every day to dispense last-minute advice and tell you all about our free pacing service. You can also learn more about our pacing groups from Runner's World Publisher Steven Seaton, who'll be talking on the adidas stage throughout the week (see box below for times).
Make sure you pick up one of our legendary Runner's World backpacks too. They're jam-packed full of pre- and post-race essentials including energy gels, drinks, pace bands, vitamins, supplements and more. But hurry - with over £45 worth of goodies for just £10, our limited stash is likely to be snapped up quickly.
Find out more about our pacing groups by visiting the adidas stage at the following times:
Wednesday April 22
2.30pm and 6.25pm
Thursday April 23
12.15pm and 2.35pm
Friday April 24
1.55pm and 6.45pm
Saturday April 25
12pm and 2.40pm
The Expo is a runner's dream, stocking almost every running-related product imaginable under one huge roof – and it's free to enter, even for non-FLM entrants. It's easy to be seduced by all the gear for sale, but even if you do splash out, it's best not to try out new kit in your marathon – 26.2 miles is a seriously long way to run in uncomfortable clothes or shoes. If you do feel the urge to liven up your race kit, why not get your name printed on your racing top? You'll be guaranteed unbeatable support from the crowd.
The Flora London Marathon Expo sees a whopping 70,000 visitors over four days, with 25,000 of these making their way to the ExCeL on Saturday. If possible, visit Expo before Saturday to avoid the crowds, or too much time on your feet just before race day.
