We've put together all the races, socials and training runs that we know forumites are meeting up at. There’s even a section dedicated to the adventures of our globe-trotting tri team, the Pirate Ship of Fools.

They're a super-friendly bunch, so don't be shy about joining a thread and saying you might see them there. (If a race isn't here, just click the main Events tab, find the race, and put a message at the bottom to ask whether anyone else is going.)

If we've missed any, do let us know. We'd love to hear about them afterwards too so be sure to find someone to send us an article and pictures.

October 19	Abingdon Marathon Following last year's cancellation of this forum favourite, it's no surprise some of our members have been whipping themselves into a frenzy since the 2008 date was confirmed. And though the entry limit has already been reached, you can be sure there'll be social plans aplenty throughout the weekend.
October 25	Snowdonia Marathon Always a high scorer in our reader race ratings, and celebrating its 26th anniversary this year, join these loyal fans as they prepare for this hilly adventure encircling one of the UK's highest peaks.
October 25	Beachy Head Marathon It’s not until late October but the thread for this hugely popular event started way back in February. It's certainly not one for the faint-hearted: expect a tough off-road course with more than 3,500ft of ascent along the cliffs over the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head.
December 14	Hastings Marathon Commemorating the centenary of the original Hastings Marathon (1908), this one-off event promises a testing course, fantastic spectator support and a feel-good factor second to none.
