The experience: Former world adventure racing champion Nick Gracie is shown tackling the terrain between Hollins Cross and Lose Hill in the Peak District. He’s preparing for October 7’s inaugural Red Bull Steeplechase, which starts and ends in the nearby village of Castleton and follows this route. “It’s the British countryside at its best – craggy hilltops and rolling green fields sprinkled with beautiful villages, forests and streams,” he says.
