Location: Worm’s Head, Wales

Runner: Anna Stickland
The experience: The first place in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Worm’s Head lies at the most westerly point of the Gower Peninsular, Wales.
At nearly one mile long and, at its peak, 45m tall, it’s only accessible for two and a half hours before and after low tide. Stickland, an outdoor pursuits instructor, is pictured here heading back towards the mainland.
