The British Energy Dunbar 10 is nicknamed by the Scottish locals as "Doon Hill", quite possibly due to the fact that half the race is 'doonhill'.

This year’s event on October 4 was windy, challenging and thoroughly enjoyable. After 10 miles of varied terrain and amazing views, the 101 finishers were treated to a noisy welcome home from finish-line spectators, and a free beer and sandwich.

Graham Beal won in 59:11, with Sula Young first lady in 1:04:29.
