Beautiful sunny weather greeted the 1,000
or so participants of the Dorridge Fun Run 8
on June 7, as they wended their way round a figure-of-eight route through the picturesque Warwickshire countryside.
Some runners were irritated by the start being delayed by 15 minutes, and support in the latter stages of the race was slightly thin on the ground, but if you’re looking for a family event with great scenery and a village fête atmosphere, this is for you.
Jonathan Ashley was first man in 47:04 and Sarah Lloyd was first woman in 56:45.
