Posted: 12 September 2008

Where York
When May 4, 2008
First Man Gary Dunn 32:53
First Woman Helen Cross 39:40

Humidity and hills are never a good combination, but that’s what the runners at the Kirkbymoorside 10K in York had to put up with on May 4, as over 400 runners toiled through picturesque countryside in hot and sticky conditions.

The efficiency of the race organisation was successfully put to the test when injuries to two competitors required medical attention, but both were declared fine afterwards.

Gary Dunn was first man home in 32:53 while Helen Cross (39:40) was first lady.
