i was running for diabetes uk and my local radcliffe hospital, I had been told not to take part due to a knee injury meaning i hadn't run a step in 5 weeks.....but 4hrs and 37mins later i crossed the finish line after running the whole marathon....ok there taking the micky out of me at work (i walk like an old woman or robo cop...depends upon the department i staggering through...
but i flippin did it, my first marathon, i've signed up for next year,,,chances of getting another ballot place must be zero but anythings worth a go hu.....
it was one of the most amazing days of my life (second only to getting married to my supportive wife)
(had to say that hu......)
