Ashridge Boundary Run 16M
Saturday 15th March, Ringshall
A hilly trail course awaits runners here so by no means will it be a walk in the park. But for the opportunity to get some decent miles with the added benefits of hill work, this is a scenic wonder. The route takes you around the Boundary estate through ancient woodlands and the Ivinghoe Beacon. It’s a circular course on both road and off road terrains. It’s a small local event of approximately 200 participants.
No Northern options??
Not very helpful...
3 are on the same weekend, one has already been cancelled and the last one is 200 miles away.
The Trimple 20 in Lancashire, Lancaster. Is flat well organised and perfectly placed to fit in with the London marathon.
The East Hull 20 is another great race run by a friendly club.
Hyde Park is doing a 20 miler on Sun 23rd March - entry through RW says full, however I managed to get a place through RunningDiary.
wow.one is in wales............
I wouldn't say it was a great pre marathon race though unless you are running a hilly onroad marathon of which there aren't many..
It is an amazing course and a lovely run .......but I can not see it being the perfect pre marathon course as with massive hills you can not sort your pacing out
How about the Surrey Half Marathon on 8th March 2015? Closed roads, flat, fast, scenic course. We would love to see you there!
