Tresco Marathon, Isles of Scilly: Sunday, April 23

The complete anthesis to flat and crowded London. There are three hills on the lap (one big and two small), but unfortunately the size of the island requires eight laps, so with 24 hills, it isn’t a particularly quick course. Thirty competitors ran the inaugural race last year, in the event organised by the charity Cystic Fibrosis Trust, but this year the 80 limit will definitely be reached. |
