Great Ethiopian Run 2013 with ORBIS

by Annie Rice

There are certain races that offer a little more of the wow factor than others. The Great Ethiopian Run is one of those on the list of great races to cross off.

Runner’s World will be taking it on with ORBIS to see what Africa’s biggest road race has to offer. Last year saw 36,000 runners storm the streets to take part in this 10K, which takes place at a breathtaking – quite literally – 2500m above sea level.

It’s not too late to join us and get involved if you’re interested in setting yourself a challenge this winter and want to see how you can make a difference as part of team ORBIS.

ORBIS is a global non-profit development organisation committed to saving sight across the world. Since their launch in 1982 they have performed over 23.3 million treatments around the globe across 92 different countries. You can find out more about their mission and work here
