This was the most amazing event I have ever had the pleasure of taking
part in, it was such a wonderful occasion and fantastic support from
start to finish.
It was mine (& Mrs Chuff's) first marathon and the memories will stay with
us forever. That's me in the red T-shirt.
We ourselves 3 goals for the run :
1. Enjoy the occasion
2. No stopping
3. Finish under 4:30:00
We achieved all 3 and got home in 4:14!
Thanks to all the forumites for hints, tips and support, and to the RW
pacers at Sutton Park for giving us the belief that we could achieve
this lifelong ambition of being able to proudly say.........We are
marathon runners!
