First mara - injured and undertrained but
loved it!
I overtook a rhino only to find him ahead of me a bit later.
I again overtook him and was increasingly frustrated to find
myself tailing him again further on. Another runner then
kindly pointed out there were several identical rhinos
racing!!!
The weather was foul at the end, my legs, back and feet ached
like hell... but the crowd were great the forumites a true
inspiration and the race something that I am honoured and
moved to have been a part of.
