How was it for you? - Quotes and pictures from London 04

Best moment was definitely running around the Cutty Sark, the crowd support was amazing with loads shouting my name. I could not resist a huge grin and a wave.

The worst moment was around the 20-mile marker when I knew that I would have to stop and walk for a little while. I was hoping to get round without stopping, but my whole body just gave up and I had to walk/run for the next 2 miles.

I was completely surprised by the support of the crowd, what an atmosphere!

My most memorable moment was coming around the bend from Birdcage Walk into the Mall and seeing my girlfriend and daughters cheering me on.

I would say that my goal was to finish the race because it was my first marathon, but I really wanted to run the whole thing. I probably only walked a mile in total so I was not too disappointed. My finish time was around 5hrs 3 mins.

I would also of liked to have spotted a few celebs, but I never saw one...

I have already celebrated with a curry and a beer, but I will rest for the next week and think about which race to do next... but I have vowed NEVER to run another marathon (we will see!!)

I would like to thank the supporters at 18 miles who lifted my spirits also, because I was flagging at that point.

Cheers from Leebo....
