Promotion: Mud Runner Dirty Weekend

It's back! Mud Runner Oblivion returns with The Dirty Weekend at the end of June 2013 at Eastnor Castle

If you're seeking your next challenge after marathon season, or simply want to test your mettle, the Dirty Weekend is the ultimate test of fitness. Picture a brutal 10K cross-country run featuring ten different tests of strength, endurance and co-ordination, plus plenty of mud, glorious mud...

Two races, plus the biggest hot tub in the land

Whether you’re a fun runner, charity fundraiser or hardened adventure runner, there are two races to choose from in the Dirty Weekend, plus two junior races for the kids. Run one of the mud-filled races - or if you’re mad enough complete both races and receive a special Dirty Weekend memento.

The course itself is set in the stunning Deer Park on Eastnor Estate and boasts some of the best tracks in the country. It is normally used by Land Rover as a testing ground for their vehicles and provides a great mix of mud pits, steep climbs, thick gooey mud and some stamina-testing natural obstacles.

At the end of the race is the legendary Muddy Tub of Love, the biggest hot tub in the land for you to warm up, clean up and brag about your achievements to fellow mud runners.

Camp out under starry night skies

The Dirty Weekend takes place over on 29th & 30th June. There’s also the option to camp too – join us around a campfire and listen to our band under star-filled night skies.

Bring the family

For kids, there’s also a Junior Mud Run, a 5K run with some tricky obstacles to tackle.  The race is open to 5-15 year olds and can be run by parents, too. The race offers older, more competitive children a tough chip-timed race to prove themselves, while younger family members can simply have a very fun and muddy run. Like the adult races, junior runners can also enter both races and get a Dirty Weekend memento.
