From a telephone box to a blushing bride, the fancy-dress runners will be out in full force this Sunday, attempting to break a few records along the way.
The Huddersfield Marathon Band, consisting of students and friends of the University of Huddersfield, was first created when they took part in the 2011 Virgin London Marathon. The band successfully set a world record for fastest marathon by a marching band, but this record has since been broken. This Sunday they will back and marching again in an attempt to reclaim their former title.
