In short: Potentially a great race but let down by poor organisation
In full: This race could be up there with the greats. The course is superb. Interesting scenary, a variety of surfaces, well thought out, tough yet fun with some characterful section (water filled tunnels). This year it was well marked too. However, I think due to lack of experience by the organisers, it really didn't hit the mark and I think they were unprepared for the big turn out. Car parking by marshals was poor (and far too limited), registration chaotic, no proper finishing strategy, prize structure non existant and no results available nearly a week later. Come on guys you could make this race ace!

In short: Mud, Mud Water and Mud
In full: I knew this would be hard but this was mad, it was slippery and wet up and down the hills and the two water tunnels take your breath away. This was great fun and one to do again.

In short: Tough-Mudder, be back next year though.
In full: Photos of last year showed runners ankle-deep coming through the tunnels, this year it was waist-deep, cool on the cucumber!!!
Parking/race start was a bit hap-hazard; only 4 porta-loos for how many????
Results timings could vary by 30 seconds as a mass start on a narrow track.
All that apart, the course was superb, challenging, very muddy, with the odd fallen tree/branches thrown in. Could have done with "Hill One" etc signs, as often an "incline" felt like a "hill", and I lost count.
Loved it though, laughed with my fellow runners throughout, atmosphere superb.

In short: A race you'll never forget! Great fun! I normally enter races where I can go for a PB so this was quite a departure-so the promise of a special sub-60 t-shirt was a great idea and had that PB feeling when I ended up creeping under the 60min barrier!

In short: Very muddy course, but great fun. Recommended for blowing away the cobwebs.
In full: The bad bits first: organisation was a bit haphazard, probably due the number of entrants. Start was delayed, and there were no mile markers. i finished early enough to get a t-shirt and water, but I know they ran out quickly.

On the plus side, the course was brilliant with tough climbs, lots of mud, plenty of clear route markers and enough marshals. The water tunnels were great, but I though waist high freezing water might be a bit much for some. The woman behind me fell over in the first one because of the uneven ground and needed a bit of help to get up again. I'll definitely be back!

In short: Tough muddy race. Organisation pretty poor.
In full: Loved this race, and the amount of recent rain made this great fun! Uphill was tough getting grip, and the downhills were more like mud-surfing in places.

Organisation however was pretty slack. They were obviously caught out by the number of entries, which meant that goodie bags were nowhere to be seen and t-shirts ran out quickly. Parking was ridiculous and needs to be looked at next year. Would also have been nice to have had mile-markers around the course, and hill-markers.

In short: Festive frolics in the mud
In full: A great way to burn excess calories. Turned up and parked about half a mile from the start, no problem as this gave me an opportunity for a warm up. Delayed start due to the large numbers. Excellent marshalling, especially the man on water tunnel one who seemed to be enjoying putting us through thigh high water. I ran as part of a group so really enjoyed the opportunity of watching some guys come down the steep muddy banks looking like Bambi on ice. I ache today but thats the joy of off roading. Will I be back? Never say never.

In full: I arrived 90 minutes before the start and parked up without any problems, but 30 minutes later is was bedlam , with no marshalls to direct traffic. The organisers were a bit slow setting up registration and the start was delayed by 15 minutes. The race itself was brilliant. Great course. Great location. Some tough hills. Running through a couple of fast flowing streams. I'll definitely be back for some more. Note to organisers; Would have been nice to have a proper prize giving instead of handing out trophies as you crossed the line. Maybe a team prize too next time. All in all it was a great day.
