In short: The best marshalls & support I've ever had at a race!
In full: I ran this for the first time in 2005 & was prewarned that it always rained. It did rain constantly - I got soaked but didn't care. I overslept & missed the start but there were still Marshalls out clapping me on. Supporters were excellent too braving the harsh condidtion & cheering everyone on. Steep hill at about mile 8 but you can make up lots of time on the downhills. Marlow is my favourite race

In short: Harsh, wet, strewn with manure. Great fun
In full: Lets make no bones about it; this is a hard race and probably sorts out the men from the boys. I ran a crushing 1:45 here and a 1:37 at Bedford a few weeks later. Rain lashed, poor goody bag, but a real sense of accomplishment. A genuine challenge.

In short: Steep hills & copious amounts of rain, mud & horse manure make for interesting running

In short: Great scenery, brilliant atmosphere and organisation, marshals were wonderful - but felt a bit cheated with the goodie bag! Need more than a tiny apple and notebook to win my heart. Loved it though!

In short: This was my second running of this race, and I really enjoyed it, despite the rain, managing to somehow get a pb!! Very well organised and marshals did a great job in horrible weather! Will be back again next year!
