In short: A fantastic experience, well organised, friendly and a lovely route.
In full: A boggy race due to the weather recently, but the event was excellent. Lots of nice additional touches such as a medal with my name on, being able to print my finish time straight away, mince pies, mulled wine.....

In short: Fantastic morning of pain!
In full: It was a great way of shaking the Christmas festivities off. It was without exception the muddiest and water soaked runs I have ever completed but somehow that added to it ;-). There are only a couple of areas of road to run on and the majority of the run was in a field or tree covered areas. The last few miles were tough as my thighs where on fire ;-) so make sure you save a little for the end. It is a run I will do again as the organisers are a friendly bunch and I did have my fair share of Mulled Wine at the end. Great event a yafta do it!

In short: Seriously muddy and seriously good.
In full: I loved this. I loved the special 4x4 parking area, easy number pick up and chip timing. I loved the medal and the mulled wine! The wet weather in the build up made some of the going fairly extreme, and the last mile or two were brutal, but it was a brilliant course, especially running around the Roman walls. I'll be back next year.

In short: Mud, hills, more mud, more Hills!
In full: A great multi terrain course. Lots of hills. Plenty of mud, too much at times (the recent weather made it alot worse). Friendly atmosphere and fantastic medals. Very well organised.
