In short: A lovely quiet country lane half marathon
In full: 2013. Excellent half marathon, using quiet country lanes meaning less than 3 cars were seen on the whole route. First class marshalls, 3 or 4 testing hills an excellent bespoke medal. If you have never done this half, then give it a look!

In short: Friendly well run race on a challenging course through some lovely Norfolk countryside.
In full: Really good race, the course is challenging but not painfully so. Some undulations and a couple of knee pumping short hills, but as it is an out and back circuit you get a good chance to weigh them up and therefore it's a good race to pace yourself. The weather was spectacular and I was delighted with my performance knocking 9 mins off my previous best.

In short: Lovely scenery on beautiful sunny day, with friendly marshalls.
In full: Really enjoyed the race. It was rather undulating, adding interest to the course. The marshalls were great, offering encouragement to everybody. The cakes at the end were an added bonus.

In short: Well organised and excellent race
In full: Very friendly race and very well organised. Testing course in places but the scenery took your mind off the aching. Definately worth doing, and a big thanks to all the marshalls for thier encouragement around the course.

In short: Unexpectedly hilly, but friendly atmosphere and nice scenery. Sunny too!
In full: Well organised; friendly marshalls, runners and crowds. I wasn't expecting the hilly bits! I really had to dig deep to tackle one or two sections. So not great PB potential if you've had the opportunity to run a flat course elsewhere. The finish wasn't ideal. Coming down a lovely long straight road, you suddenly turn right for the last 50 yards. And the road is not visible from the field where the race ends, so not great atmosphere to finish with as the crowds don't see you till the last second! Worth coming back for though. Well done Norwich Road Runners.
