In short: I keep coming back despite that hill
In full: Make no mistake this is not an easy race. The two mile long hill, although not steep seems to take its toll on the old legs.
At least, unlike most years, the wind was not blowing so that was a crumb of comfort.
As it's one of my more local races I always try to do it but that hill doesn't get any easier.

A very well organised event of which Accrington RR can be proud.

In short: first time i've done this run and i'll be back for more.
In full: A challenging run in that the majority of the first 3 miles is downhill before a 2 mile gradual climb. The last mile was ok though. Like someone else has said, the hill climb was made easier due to there being no wind.

In short: great race, great t-shirt, well organised
In full: thanks to all marshals/volunteers and spectators for shouts of encouragement, weather was ideal this year, last year I remember a head-on wind going up the hill made it even more challenging

In short: I will be back in 2010
In full: Enjoyed the race there are quite a few downhills in the first 3 miles before you are faced with the hill and the driving wind in your face for a mile or so.Good encouragement from the marshalls and a nice t shirt at the end.Well done Accrington AC

In short: Good course, tough windy weather
In full: 1st time coming up from Stoke on Trent for this one, good but challenging course & a tough one to obtain a PB in. Would have been a great day but for the wind which was a shocker esecially as the inclines hit you with the wind full in your face!
Good support from locals & marshalls bit subdued at finish line though.
Would definately do it again!
