In short: Excellent, how all should be ! In full: I've done a lot of 10ks and this one is 5-star - Plenty of car parking, excellent friendly efficient organising, scenic, mildly undulating course (hill at 8 was very short so don't know why this gets mentioned so much !),cheering happy marshals, great t-shirt and goodies, tremendous value-for-money - top marks to Tadley Runners Date of review: July 6, 2014
In short: Pleasant undulating course on quiet country lanes In full: Excellent value at £10, including a tech t-shirt! Well organised. Plenty of marshals. Gently undulating course until 8Km when there is a steeper, but fairly short hill. My only criticism would be the limited toilet facilities. With a race entry limit of 500, there should be more than one gents. Nevertheless, I will be back to run it again! Date of review: July 6, 2014
In short: Great value and lovely course In full: Loved this one, roads not closed but they didn't need to be. 3k race for the kids beforehand which they enjoyed particularly as they got a chance to race on the road also. £10 in total for me and two happy kids, well worth it. Hill at 8k is noticeable but not extreme and over before you know it. Undulating in places but just enough to keep you alert. Back next year for sure. I will also try some of their other races as this was well organised from start to finish. Date of review: July 10, 2013
In short: A gorgeous single loop road run through a lovely area In full: I'm not a fan of road running but this one I will always turn up for. Its a lovely route in a lovley place. Great Atmosphere and goody bag and ample parking. A fast course but you will have to dig deep to keep on pace at the various slight uphills.
In short: Great route through the country lanes, lets forget the 8k hill! In full: First time I have done Tadley and it was worth the trip from Gosport (55 miles), I will look to do the 10 mile 14th October as the same group are organising.
Pleasent scenery, largely flat with a few ups and downs and then a pig of a steep incline at 8k to take the wind out of you.
Nice T Shirt at the finish and I also got a Spot Prize worth £100, which is fab
All in all very much recommend Date of review: July 3, 2012
In short: Well organised run on country lanes In full: Well organised race which seems to attract a bigger field each year. 3k fun run for the kids followed by a undulating 10k with a short steep climb at 8k to make sure yo remember the run ! Date of review: July 2, 2012
In short: Very well run race on an excellent course with perfect weather In full: The organisation at Tadley is always very good. Low key but well managed.
It's an excellent course - flat for a mile, down hill for a mile, 3 miles of occassional undulation and then a sharp climb at 8k just to take away any complacency as the finish approaches.
What made it extra enjoyable this year was the weather. It was warm enough but a bit of breeze and even a bit of drizzle the hills at the end seemed much much easier than last year. Date of review: July 2, 2012
