In short: Great first race, definitely do it again and reccommend.
In full: This was my first ever 10K and I was a bit apprehensive beforehand about what the standard would be like. It was a really well organised event and I enjoyed it. Mostly flat course, only one small hill that I can remember. Plenty of support around the course to keep you motivated and well marshalled. Free lucozade and water as well as medal and stuff at the end.

In short: Great day out and even got a PB!
In full: This race was very well organised and worth the extra dosh for entry. Great weather and a great day out and even with 11,000+ runners I managed to get a PB.

In short: One of the better big races
In full: Well done to the race organisers. Often the big races with large fields forget the basics, but this was well catered for. I liked the attempt to put runners in the correct time bands, which worked well. You still found people towards the front walking before you got to the 2K mark (get real these people). Like most big races I found I spent most of the first 7k weaving through the slow runners, but not as bad as most other big 10k runs. Nice t-shirt too!
