In short: Absolutely superb!
In full: Fantastic race this. Excellent pre-race programme sent out with your race number, loads of signs directing you where to park (plus marshals in the car parks themselves), excellent course, friendly encouraging marshals etc etc. A really top-class event - 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you White Horse Harriers

In short: Fast, friendly, fun filled course ideal for pb or benchmark
In full: Cheap as chips good value for money runners' race, appreciated by 99% all known entrants. Running out of space for mugs, needs a change of memento :-)

In short: Chip timing added to the event. This is simply the best half marathon. Organisation and marshalling of the highest order, no serious hills, beautiful countryside, great buzz, well supported where it goes through the villages and only £8 to enter

In short: Friendly, local event with a polished edge
In full: They said it was flat and it is. Less than 30metres of climb the entire race. Definitely an opportunity for a PB though I didn't achieve this as was using it as a pace run for the VLM. Next time I would consider this race for an all out attack on a PB. The lack of crowds watching and participating (perhaps a good thing for many people) makes it a lonely race. More like a time trial for those near the front. I guess that offsets the benefits of a flat course but this is a charming race, run by runners, and marshaled enthusiastically. Thank you for the trophy and cheque and the massage at the end was very much appreciated and welcomed.

In short: A well-organised, flat half. Good for a PB, but not one to rave about.

In short: Lovely race Great organisation Excellent marshals
In full: My third time of running this event. Lovely race, good parking & didnt have to queue once for Ladies loos !! Route is flat and scenary good - marshals were very supportive as were the small gatherings of supporters dotted about the course. Nice mug & chip timing the latter a nice addition this year and sill good value - just a plea which I think has been made before Please dont allow this event to get too big - it is perfect as it is.

In short: Great race - but get rid of Mr Happy Referee at the finish
In full: 3rd year in a row.
Excellent marshalling, very friendly and supportive - a big thank you to all of them.
Chip timing this year which added £5 to the race.
Shame about the referee at the finish, what a jobsworth of misery!
Will definitely be back though to add to my mug collection!

In short: Superb!
In full: Second year of running this race. Slick, well organised with friendly marshalls and good support. Flat, well sign posted course. A very fast race as 80pc club runners but I was not put off being almost last running in 2h13 as I'm running against myself, and had plenty of cheerers along the way :)
Will be signing up for next year's for sure.

In short: A lovely race on a lovely day
In full: This was a well organised race on a very flat course. Plenty of very friendly marshalls around the course and good support. Easy to find, plenty of toilets and parking right next to the start. The curse is flat and definately PB potential (not for me this time) Weather was lovely. Definately one to do for any runner. It was a clubby race but didn't feel out of place as a non club runner. Thanks White Horse.
