In short: Good race, disappointingly doesn't qualify as a PB as on grass
In full: Good race- first 2 miles around West Park, then out on to road and pavements (not all were cordoned off so pedestrians were sometimes in the way) and then back into the park for the final mile.
Free photo and t-shirt at end, as well as spot prizes- excellent for price.
Only drawbacks- results and presentation were slow and times do not count as a PB as it was on grass.
Otherwise, good run.

In short: One of my favourites
In full: Echo all the plaudits but with one very small grumble, for the second year in a row the XL t-shirts ran out before I ran in - 46 mins. As it 'appens, technical shirts seem to be smaller sizes so the XXL shirt fits great! Other than that, a thoroughly enjoyable and well organised event whatever the weather. Well done and thanks LERC

In short: LERC setting the standard in fine style!
In full: Change of course this year, but for the better. More park, less road, fewer long straight hauls, but still keeping it's PB potential, as this is a flat course. As always at LERC, an excellent prize structure for this race, making for good competition at the top of the field. For those further down, the marshalls had bags of enthusiasm...even unexpected rain did not dampen spirits...Cheerleaders at the start, cow-bell ringeres on the way round (could catch on!)...and a mug, t-shirt & goody bag for their 25th anniversary at the finish. Splendid indeed!
