In short: Tough Hills at a Tough Time of the Year
In full: Ran this race twice now. Main point is the two hills you have to climb are steep, and the hardest you need to climb twice. First circuit the announcer introduces you as you cross the finish line for the first time. Lack of Portaloos this time. Best race photographers I've ever seen, their photos are sharp, colourful and clear, despite it being a dark time of the year. Great medal, excellent goody bag. One fault, it takes place in February, and if you can't get there due to snow, there's no refund for you!

In short: Nice course, challenging hills, great medal
In full: Second time running the Longleat 10km, thoroughly enjoyed it - especially after the snow and ice last year!
Three challenging hills but still a great course.

Organisation has definitely improved from last year. Communication from 2:09 pre-event was very good, easy to find information tent this year and good to see that Longleat have embraced the race and opened up the restaurant and toilet facilities this year. Gives spectators something to do during the run and better to get a snack afterwards than a greasy burger van.

Love the lion medal at the end! I'll be back next year

In short: very proud to have completed this race!
In full: I seem to find myself entering races and then as it approaches I am filled with fear!!! Today was no different but how proud do I feel tonight with my lovely Lions Head Medal in my hand!!! This is a tough course for a part time runner like me, I am much more comfortable in my regular exercise classes or cycling!!! I tackled all 3 hills admirably and surprisingly it was the down hill that caused me a knee injury that reached a painful climax between 8-9km resulting in a very slow end to an otherwise great run! I truely believe that 50% is believing you can do it and the rest is fitness and I proved this today. Would recommend this run as worth the challenge and you will have a great feeling when you cross the finish, beautiful scenery too!

In short: Challenging but not impossible.
In full: Great race well organised, only complaint was people walking 3 abreast on a narrow road up the first hill after 1k. Why do these people start near the front??

In short: Great first race of the year.
In full: Well organised and scenic race. Liked the challenges of the three hills. Got talking to quite a few people on the way round which was nice. It's a nice LONG downhill to the finish. Don't get carried away and go to early. Thanks to the guy that ran down there most of the way. We did well in overtaking :). Fantastic medal, a lions head, definitely my favourite medal yet.
