In short: Well organised event, good value for money
In full: Very well organised by Spectrum Striders. Well sign-posted and good to have free parking. Good that chip timing was available for a relatively low-cost entry fee. Course wasn't the most scenic but it was mostly flat, apart from some small hills towards the end. Still managed a PB though! Only slight gripe was that I thought that the finishing funnel was quite narrow, which got a little crowded. Very useful towel! A no-nonsense event, good value for money.

In short: Great Organisation and Good Chance of a Fast Time
In full: I ran my best ever 10k time on this course many years ago but still returned to run it again, this time MUCH slower. Excellent organisation and a high-quality, practical towel at the finish. Yes, there are a few small inclines but nothing compared to many courses. Scenery not up to much but if that's what floats your boat, then go for a car ride instead.

In full: Excellent organisation: plenty of close free parking, lots of marshalls, efficient handouts at finish. Course: boring, flat but a couple of testing inclines near the end which can scupper your PB chance. Value: good at £11 includes water half way and at finish, bath towel and flowers for ladies. Beginner-friendliness: well, i wouldnt like to do it as my first race, a pretty high standard of club runners racing, depends how intimidated you are.

In short: Really enjoyed this race
In full: Quick course but the 3 minor inclines at the end may upset any PB chance. Loved the towel at the end, very useful. First time I've ever seen flowers for the ladies, nice touch. Great organisation and marshalling. Can see why this run rates highly. Will be back.

In short: Great well supported 10k, fairly flat with a few minor inclines. Prize of a towel was very useful at the finish when it started raining!

In full: Not as quick as cliamed in my opinion. Lots of roundabouts and a few short inclines that cause you to slow down enough to make a PB attempt difficult. The marshalls were excellent and very supportive. The race was organised well as ever by Spectrum Striders.
