In short: A well organised, really enjoyable event.
In full: Had heard much hype about this race in advance. Thankfully, the race lived up to its billing and if anything exceeded expectations. Fantastic venue and facilities, on the whole good marshalling, medical aid was on the ball.
Special thanks for plentiful supplies of water throughout course, much appreciated on a warm day. Good course from runners perspective, mostly flat, and good for spectators at start and finish. Fine race forum on RW website both pre & post event that provided all the encouragement you could need. Hope to be back again!

In short: Fab marshalls and great scenery
In full: Couple of climbs on the way back in I wasn't prepared for but a great route with loads of support. Really friendly race managed to sort of chat in between gasps on the way round.

In short: Was a really good flat race. Was a little busy at the start but didn't interfere with me that much.

In short: Excellent!!
In full: Second time of doing this half-marathon, and definitely hope to be back next year. Well done to Mike James, and everyone concerned with the event. You all made this run a resounding success, and what better way to finish than with a really nice medal, personalised teashirt, and a welcome goody bag with fruit, biscuits and bottle of water.

In short: First time I have done this - but it is one to go back to
In full: Although it was unseasonably warm, the copious water (and water stations) made it easy to manage at a good pace. Despite still recovering from a muscle injury this summer - and from the previous weekend's hard 10-miler - I was within two minutes of last season's PB.
Not too crowded at the start and the field soon thinned out. Most of the course is so close to flat that you couldn't ask for better!
Great finishing half mile as well.
Special congrats to all of the marshalls and helpers at the water stations, who all did a cracking job.
