In short: Santa saunter
In full: Great atmosphere with everyone in the festive spirit & that kids could take part too, but the start and finish of the race were horrendously overcrowded. It was badly organised and despite trying to stay with kids it was hard as everyone was pushing/competetive.

Goodie bag was ok. tshirts ok.would probably choose to do a smaller santa dash nxt year.

In short: Huge Festive fun for all, adults, kids and non runners alike. Great atmosphere.
In full: Always great to run in Liverpool so worth the trip from London. Did the race in good time then a 1k with my 9 year old 'mini-me' lots of fun but some MAJORLY competitive dads! Snow machine, cool medals for adults and kids but goody bag not good for kids!Lovely atmosphere and beautiful day. Will do it next year, but not one for speed as lots of walkers just having fun - which is great!

In short: Santa Dash, Santa Dash - so good I did it twice
In full: As reported in the local press - http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/liverpool-news/regional-news/2008/12/08/liverpool-s-big-santa-dash-hailed-a-runaway-success-64375-22425593/2/
Not a race at all. A Fun Run, with the emphasis on Fun. I enjoyed it so much, I ran it again as my warm down. And I've already got my entry in for next year !

In short: would do again just as its the last of the year in our area
In full: I enjoyed the race It was very funny seeing all the different people in these funny Santa suits. our son who we had roped into doing it with us had said "Dad i have change for the parking meter" But by the time we had put on our funny Santa hats etc we forgot all about the parking. And we didn't only get a ticket. we were clamped! We were nearly freezing by the time they came to free us Disgusting! I wouldn't mind but there was plenty of spaces not as if we were in an awkward spot taking up a disabled spot or anything Not a very friendly thing to do especially as it was meant to be for charity.
And they must have known we would have just completed a race. I know it was our own fault but hey come on we all make mistakes.
How mean can the authorities get

In short: Great fun, Great Atmosphere and Great start to the festive season
In full: My first time for this race and despite the drizzle and grey skies at the start there was a great atmosphere with every shape and size of santa and four-legged friend taking part. The radio presenter did a great job of getting everyone motivated and the race went really smoothly. I'd question whether it was 5k as the end seemed to appear sooner than expected. The cheers and fake snow at the end were great and for £15 the santa suit, t-shirt, medal and goodie back made it really good value. Definitely take part again.

In short: well done mr.rothwell and your team.well done liverpool.just send the santa costume to non liverpool residents next time
In full: the weather to liverpool and back to birmingham is going to put you off coming over again next year but after being a part of the event seeing those cheers and happy faces amongst my fellow runners or walkers and spectators is uplifting and morale boosting.the medals are very posh, the tshirt
classy and the goody bag generous.furthermore,to be a part of a world record is an honor.thanks for the santa dash.ill be back and my family

In short: Ho Ho Ho!
In full: This is the only race I have ran where I have exclaimed "is that the finish line already?"

Great fun, well organised - it was so funny to see all the Santas in one place. Generous goody bag plus T shirt and medal and Santa Suit which kept out the chill when we were waiting to start.

This is purely a fun run - are people seriously wanting to get a good time? However, the marshals and police were some of the most miserable I have ever seen. Someone in a red santa suit ran outside the cones and got barked at by a policeman and the marshalls at the enquiry tent were just plain scary - cheer up, it's Christmas!
