In short: Tough
In full: Tough race. Progressively harder the further you go. Done this a couple of times before although the last ditch was not pleasant & could easily have ruined a pleasant run, walk,climb,slide. Had a fellow runner catch Ecoli at a similar type of event & this did not have a ditch next to a farm. Yes make it fun, mud & water but not slurry

In short: Great challenging race !
In full: Really enjoyable, but hard work !
First time I'd attempted a race like this but well worth it. So much different to a road race/10k/marathon.
Some really tough hills, deep mud, fast decents, ...
Great fun and defintely one for next year!

In short: the most arduous thing I have ever done
In full: A great race, really enjoyed it in some bizarre way. but I have to echo the points made about the showers and that pointless ditch. If I go down with Weils disease I will know where I got it from!

In short: Excellent but we still need a ditch the ditch protest group.
In full: As usual this race was excellent with a great route, great organization and friendly encouraging marshals. However, please think seriously about chucking out the ditch. I heard lots of complaints about the muck and smell but that didn't bother me - it is just not that sort of gimmicky race - I don't do the sodbury slog for the same reason. Terminator is a great hard cross country race not a wading competition. Anyway, ditch aside, thanks for the race PVRC and keep up the good work.

In short: A great mix of mud and some nasty hills
In full: I did it tow years ago and had forgotten how tough it was. A great course, although this year marred by the addition of the stinky ditch near the end, which just a gimmick. Ditch the ditch guys.

In full: Perhaps the toughest race I've done yet but a great one.
Excellent organisation, well placed water stations and encouraging marshalls. The Clif bars and decent t-shirt were very welcome at the end.
Not sure about 'The Ditch' - was it really necessary?!
Will hopefully be back next year! Fantasic cake stall too...

In short: Mud, glorious mud 9and hills)
In full: 2nd time after running it three years ago but found the course the same apart from that ditch ! It's hard, it's hilly, it's muddy and great fun. I can't make my mind up about the ditch - yes it was fun but caused a queue and some people were getting mightily hacked off with it!!
However, great organisation and in a great part of the world.
p.s. Can the school get the mens showers repaired, particulalry if the ditch is there next year. They were bad 3 years ago and even worse this year !!!

The race is tough and challenging and you get a real sense of achievement when you get to the finish line.
The only disappointing thing this year was the slurry ditch, the race doesn't need it. The Terminator is all about hills and doesn't need this Sodbury-like gimic, which caused a queue at such a late stage in the race and made you go cold even before going in the boot wash. Not a welcome site this year when you knew you were in your last mile.
Garmin read 11.8 this year.
