In short: Excellent event again, thanks Ram In full: The relay this year (well we had run Berlin the weekend before). Brilliant course, great organisation, even the weather picked up. Don't complain about the cold showers - at least there were some. Not many events this size have any. Date of review: October 7, 2010

In short: Excellent course and marshals, but the organisation is a bit hit-and-miss! In full: I loved the course, which was challenging and scenic (around 85% trail). It's really tough on a wet day like this year, with some stiff climbs. Its point-to-point nature and mix of full, half and relay runners also adds interest. Unfortunately, the organisation, including pre-event information, is a bit ragged around the edges, which spoils it a little. Mind you, I've done it three times now, so it can't be that bad! In short: love this really challenging race In full: I'll be back again and again, but somehow I always forget how bad that hill is between 6 and 8 miles! Loved the weather this year. Date of review: October 7, 2010

In short: Mud mud mud mud mud hills hills hills mud mud hills hills and bananas In full: Brilliant. Well done Paul on another excellent flawless event. I hope you never retire!
The weather just adds to this event, and the atmosphere at the marathon transitions is really uplifting.
Excellent freebies at the end, but the real selling point of this event as I have already mentioned is the organisation. The logistics must be a nightmare. Its a point to point race, with real parking problems, involving three events in one day. But the organisers have overcome all these potential problems and everyone seems to go hope elated with no complaints at all. Date of review: October 6, 2010

In short: Mud glorious mud! In full: What a fantastic day Sunday was! Only my second marathon, but will definately be back for more pain next year! What a sense of achievement as i crossed that finish line!
Cannot fault the organisation of the entire event, and a massive thankyou to the super supportive,(and also soggy) marshals who did a magnificent job of steering and cheering us around the course!
See you next year! Date of review: October 6, 2010
