In short: Nice home race
In full: Good race with challenging course taking in all the best bits of MK, good marshalling for number of runners.
Too cramped at start and slow but thins out.
Still find it strange how such a big race never quite pulls off the big race atmosphere. No massage which was a shame, they usually have this. Organisation was better with a lot of last years problems sorted out.

In short: Nice mix of city + rural - shows Milton Keynes in new light - well organised, good fun
In full: Cold and wet 1 hour before the start - didn't look good - but plenty of places to shelter in until 5 minutes before the start - including a massive Wetherspoons. First few miles quite difficult to run even pace due to back-markers, but thereafter a varied course, initial city roads leading to country pubs and big Willen Lake half way round. Very well marshalled, no complaints over goody bag, plenty of free parking - this overall was a credit to the organisers. Congratulations to all concerned, and all runners.

In short: Let down by some basic organisational deficiencies
In full: Baggage drop a disaster so had to avoid it. 10k start got in the way and no timing pens meant I lost time at the start. No food, but loads of people at the finish handing out leaflets was just not good. That said, Marshalling was great, mile-markers were good and parking was excellent.

In short: Some organisational issues. No goodie bag! Easy access both in and out of MK.
In full: Cheers for the medal but where was the bag of goodies? I did this race in 2007 and then there was a goodie bag and a t-shirt! I opted to leave my bag in the car after seeing the horrendous queue. Bad plan with 10K's starting only 10mins before, caught up with 10K's on a narrow stretch which was quite congested. On the positive side absolutely no issues getting to the race and leaving the race also able to keep warm in the Escape.
