In short: Love the last mile!!
In full: Great race, really friendly and a lovely course through lovely countryside. Would definitely do it again, even though the last mile and a bit is tough to say the least!

In short: I live in very flat Cambridgeshire which made the hills challenging - but in a good way (I think!)
In full: Lovely friendly race, well marshalled with good organisation from start to finish. Disappointed the chip timing appears to have started with the gun so chip times slow (20 seconds in my case) but then with pb potential limited by those hills it didn't matter too much. Only thing to change would be the position of the start on the field to avoid the bottle neck 70 yards into the race. Oh, and flattening out the hill at 5-6 miles and the one at the end would be great too!!!!!

In short: second time I have entered this race and had great day on challenging course. Appeared all chip times were set off from the start gun rather than crossing start line though so chip times may not have been entirely accurate.

In short: Excellent
In full: Excellent race this is my 5th one I`ll be back for many years to come.
There is one thing they have to sort out and that is the road from the field to the village hall, I think there should be a managed crossing point or a lolly pop person its a very busy road.

In short: H/M first-timers beware!
In full: First off, I wouldn't recommend this to a H/M first-timer. Pick a flatter race!
Secondly, BV Lions definition of 'undulating' must differ considerably to mine. This course is definitely 'hilly'. End of story.
Thirdly, the last mile or so is nothing short of stupid, especially after 12 miles.
In summary, if you have been running H/M for years, go for it. If not, DON'T!!!
