In short: Thanks to Grass Roots for another excellent event
In full: Really enjoyed this event even though I didn't much feel like running on the day. Probably helped by nice sunny weather on the day.

Very well organised, with a friendly pre-race briefing from Steve Goulding. Thanks also Steve for encouragement at the end even though I ran a painfully slow time compared to my pre-injury days; even though it was a very flat course - definite PB potential in good conditions.

Good mix of runners, and nice to see team Ryan taking part. Nice for me personally to bump into an old friend at the end (sweaty hug time!)

Nice medal and jelly babies at the end. A t-shirt would be a nice addition but I understand this incurs extra expense and would be an organisational nightmare with so many entries on the day.

See you at the Rough n Tumble everyone.

In short: Very flat excellent PB potential
In full: Situated just outside of Swindon in nearby Wroughton this is a great PB potential course due to its relative flatness and the knowledge you gain from the first lap going into the second. The atmosphere was perhaps a little lacking and their wasn't much scenery but the competition was great and I would recommend it. A goodie bag at the end may have been nice as well

In short: Great race in the countryside
In full: I signed up on the day, but did not have to face any long queues at all. Very smooth operation throughout. Pleasant route through the countryside and a nice medal at the end. The sun even shined. It was pretty much as good as it gets!

In short: Excellent race from getting my number in the post to crossing the finish line.
In full: No complaints at all. This was well marshalled and well organised. It's mostly flat but don't be fooled, there is a long incline that was cheeky.
PB potential.....I did!

In short: Best Birthday run, love these people!
In full: Very well organised with jolly marshalls and a sweetheart full of tips last runner marshall (great idea) called Clare, who ran me in and gave me loads of hints. Excellent atmosphere, all the fit people encouraged me (as they overtook me LOL) and the beautiful weather made for a quality run. Very happy, thanks guys, this was great, see you next year :-D
