In short: Great event
In full: Lovely scenic village race with a couple of mega (hard to even walk up) hills. Fantastic support/encouragement from the marshals, thank you. Great t shirt and cake. Would definitely do this again.

In short: Hills, mud, more hills, more mud ...
In full: ...but a beautiful down-hill stretch to finish with and an excellent t-shirt at the end that proves you "survived" the race!

In short: Simple, 1 very big hill some flat with mud and water and ruts followed by another big up hill and a lovely downhill finish, great support, very well organised with great support from the marshalls too.

In short: The people were very friendly and helpful (were taking enteries right up until the start) the scenery was very nice. There was loads of mud, which made the hills even more challenging.

In short: One of the hardest runs I have done but also one of the most enjoyable
In full: I knew there were steep hills but they still came as a bit of a shock especially the second one.You expect to turn to the right where you can see the village but you are turned to the left up a vertical incline .Half way up I wanted to lie down but I made it. The marshalls were very encouraging and the tea and cakes at the end were very welcome.

In short: The non-optional extras of mud and water this year made it an even better race - marshalls were so supportive esp as they were standing in the wet and cold. Excellent event even with the 2 hills, will be back again next year...
