In short: Wow ... nice houses!!
In full: This was the first time doing this race and I managed to get my 10k PB. The hill is fairly tough but there is a great opportunity to make up time going down hill. The houses and Moor park area is fantastic. My only critism is the signage to the race. Once inside the Moor Park estate, although I could see the KM markers, I couldnt find the start point and had to drive around for a while.

In short: Really nice afternoon race. Great family atmosphere as the main event follows the junior races. Yes there's a hill, but it is not a mountain!

In short: Great atmosphere and the infamous hill isn't as bad as everyone says. Smashed by PB, look forward to next year.

In short: Fantastic - highly recommended!!
In full: A well organised, friendly race for all abilities - brilliant attractions for younger children (old fashioned fair rides) and always well attended by a great mix of age/genders/abilities. Luckily it's on my door-step and I've now run it five years in a row and will continue to do so. Watch out the two hills near the beginning - they always get to me! Congratulations to the organisers - I doff my cap to you!

In short: Another enjoyable run around the Moor Park area. This was the fourth time I have taken part in this race and the steep climb through the golf course remains as challenging as ever.
In full: An enjoyable race and as I spent many a happy afternoon watching my son play rugby, cricket and hockey at Merchant Taylors I always enjoy coming back to run around the school grounds. I always find the race challenging but very rewarding once the hill has been beaten for another year!

In short: A long-ish climb through the golf course, and some very nice houses on the route! An enjoyable Sunday afternoon's run.
