In short: Busy but fun. One of the best large half marathons I've ran.
In full: Despite the crowds it was one of the quickest half marathon times I've recorded. Great crowds, great scenery and - despite the volume of people - well organised. It's only when you go to a large event that is shambolic that you appreciate when one is well run. You'll always have waiting time at the bigger events but this was kept down to a minimum here.

In short: Thoroughly enjoyable and I didn't think I'd say that after my first run over 10K

In short: Got to be 1 of the best 1/2 marathons to tackle in the London area
In full: Challenging but fun. Well organised and well supported and plenty to do before and after the race. Good weather on the day made the whole event that little bit mor eenjoyable as well.

In short: loved it, booked my 2nd half marathon for March to improve and will come back next year
In full: Gorgeous scenery to run through, uplifting crowds through out the journey, well organised and perfectly flat for new runners.

It was the first half-marathon I ran and I was pumped at the end. I only started running at the beg of 2010. I have booked another half marathon in March and think it is a great first runner.

In short: First class organisation and the views are not bad either!
In full: Great day and well thought out - plenty of water etc. I was surprised I got my time texted to me in a few minutes. Could even enjoy this in rubbish autumn weather but we were lucky on the day. Fellow Duffers may have found a couple nagging inclines but no problem if you've trained and going at a sensible pace. A few pinch-points around road narrowing and some turns but the only real hazard was avoiding water bottles not thrown off-road

In short:
In full: Enjoyable but some people took it far too seriously - being sworn at for passing someone spoilt the day for me. There was lots of support to the day which was absolutely tremendous. I was very disappointed by the television programme shown on the half marathon - too much time was taken up showing "celebrities".
