In short: Loved it ! Gave me the confidence & kick up the a**e to start running again :-)
In full: After 8 years or so away from running due to dodgy knees(which years later was diagnosed as arthritis)I took jogging up again about 8 months ago and was content with plodding along doing 5k. Out of the blue a friend challenged me to do this a few days before. I nervously accepted but wow! I'm so happy I did. I loved every minute of it and its really given me confidence to run again.....and here I am signing up ro Runner's World ! :-)

In short: Wonderful morning out in the Surrey hills
In full: This is one of my favourite races due to the stunning scenery. You will not get a PB because of the hills and the sand but you will have a wonderful time. The view from St Martha's is great. It was nice to see the Canix there as well, but maybe they could go earlier or after the runners.

In short: Beautiful morning in fantastic scenery -just enjoy it!
In full: I 'd wanted to do this for a while but it is usually earlier in August. This was perfect at 8.30 on a septemebr morning. I like to see the cani-x but can understand faster runners being blocked by them on the narrow paths - maybe a bigger gap needed.

In short: Tough but worth it
In full: My first proper off road event. Fantastic scenery, tough going on those hills and with sand underfoot. Great marshals, nice to finish downhill :-) and great free photos to remember it all by, will definitely be doing some more allabouttriathlon events!

In short: Steep climbs, Stunning scenery, What more could you want?
In full: Excellent race through amazing picturesque scenery. Big climbs, some on loose sand for extra pain, tight technical sections that require careful foot placement and wonderfully upbeat marshalls. Highly recommended!

In full: Wow, was very hilly, but that's not a bad thing. Thoroughly enjoyed it, well organised. A few people have commented on the dog issue however i did not see this to be a problem.
