In short: Up hill start with some fast down hill and flat sections.
In full: The other reviews have said it all before, get the hills out of the way in the first 2K then its down hill and back on the flat. Nice venue, good scenery and organization and a quality tech T. I was surprised at how quick the race is considering the hills. Will add it to my calender

In short: Well organised & an entertaining course
In full: Run was well marshalled & friendly. Tow path was a bit bumpy in places which didn't help with keeping your form with tired legs. Course not as challenging as I was expecting. The finish is downhill from the start so the toughish first 3k is easily forgotten by the rest of race being downhill or flat. Thank You Horsforth Harriers. Hope to do race again.

In short: Well-organised with a good mix of road and towpath.
In full: Very well organised with plenty of encouraging marshals, very nice technical t-shirt and a surprisingly quick course. First two miles have quite a bit of climbing, but after that it's flat or downhill all the way. Thank you Horsforth Harriers!

In short: Nice conkers
In full: Avoided the temptation to stop on the big hill and pick conkers up (obviously it wouldn't be me stopping cos that hill went on a bit!), really good course, well marshalled and def one to do again

In short: Good course, fantastic marshalls, very well organised, nice T-shirt!
In full: My first Horsforth 10k and loved it! Get the hills out of the way quickly and you know its downhill or flat for the run in. Marshalls were fab, never had so much smiling encouragement. Not hitches in the organisatio and a tech T at a bargain price. Definitly one to do again, and again....
