In short: Well organised with a friendly atmosphere for beginner or seasonal runner. great free massages thats a first!!! nice medal and goody bag. defo run it again next year. keep up the good work A++++
In full: The only negative issue i have and there is nothing the event organiser can sort out was the strong wind on the sea front made it hard work for the majority of the race. other than that brill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In short: Excellent
In full: Superb organisation inc. parking right next to venue, loads of toilets, big warm hall at start/finish, plenty of emails before and after, fab goody bag.
Feel i was on for a PB here if it hadnt been for the horrendous headwind first 3 miles, will definately be back next year. Credit to everyone involved. Excellent value too.

In short: Very friendly atmosphere and well organized race. Hard to believe it was the first running of the event.
In full: Excellent value. Good teeshirt, medal & goodybag and plenty of friendly marshalls. Great flat course, personal best potential especially if wind blows the other way! Felt sorry for the pannier-laden first aid cyclists battling into the gale along the coast! Good organization and plenty of changing/toilet facilities in the school. Very good communications by email beforehand and nice to have result texted to me within an hour of finishing. Only 15 minutes from home so will definitely be back. The finishing corner felt a little cramped so would be nice to have a straighter run-in if I have any energy left for a sprint next time.

In short: Well organised, good value flat race with chip timing
In full: Good facilities in the school... ie lots of toilets. Well organised. Good medal. Good T-shirt. Good goody bag. Lots of marshals. Went off without a hitch. Good atmosphere.

Shame about final corner to finish & a few morose marshals but it didn't spoil the event in anyway.

Is Southport always that windy lol?

In short: Value for money
In full: Well organised, well marshalled, top value,
Down side on the day was it was very windy (gales force) but Mother Nature is Mother Nature that’s part of a runners life. They really made an effort to take care of the runners needs hopefully they maintain this high standard in future years,
