In short: Fantastic Race! Mad Dog Rules!!
In full: I should have done this race last year but injury put paid to that! This year they have changed the course so there is not such a twisting finish but a fast, flat race in! Due to things out of the organisers control(i.e. council car-parks!) plus the late arrivers, the race was delayed by half an hour, but this was relayed to the runners very quickly. The race itself was brilliant with the drummer band at 4k a real surprise! But for the notorious Southport wind this would have been a PB for me! A great day only spoiled by the weather, agree this would be an amazing summer evening event, but also understand this would be impossible with summer traffic etc. Will be back next year! WOOF! WOOF!

In short: Cold but friendly
In full: 2nd time we have done this race . The course was even better this year and the samba band and entertainment on the way was superb. A few more buses would have been nice but overall excellent. A special mention for the marshals and cadets who were very encouraging in the cold conditions. Well done to the organisers

In short: Just keeps getting better. The 10k that's man's best friend.
In full: The friendliest and best-organised 10k in the country did it again today. An even better course than last year, as the organisers had removed the pavement section at the end and managed to keep the coast road open for the whole event. Superbly organised, very friendly, and a great t-shirt and goody bag. I for one will be back next year. Well done to the organisers.

In short: When does 2014 open?
In full: There was a delay - but they kept us informed and being based in the school was great, somewhere warmish & dry to wait! As a non-driver I can recommend the train and walk to the start:-)

Love the course, hate the cold that prevented me drinking and breathing at the same time. Like the changes to the course from I & II, good to see a race organiser listening to feedback.

And a goody bag of treats to put all others to shame!

Woof!

In short: Flat fast and fun
In full: The start was delayed by half an hour due to queues for car park and shuttle buses to the start. They may have to reconsider the number of entries in future. However, it was very fast, well marshalled with closed roads. The T-shirt and medal are great and the very generous goody bag makes a £20 entry fee acceptable. It would be a great course to run on a fine summer evening rather than a freezing February day but highly recommended.

In short: Top 10K in UK.
In full: Great idea to have names on shirt numbers, samba band fantastic, buses fine ( people need to not leave it so late to arrive ! ), course excellent ( i.e. road closures, out & back, tide in, straight line finish, RAF ( ?? ) lads encouraging.

Your marketing is first class, how to build a brand !

For punters, also unbelievable value for money!
