In short: Apart from the weather?
In full: I think everyone ahead of me has said all I need to say already - weather - wow, all seasons in a day, and the wind!! Like running through treacle. However, still managed a good time (not a PB). I had to que a bit for the goody bag as I think I hit it at the wrong time, but that was soon rectified by other marshals/ volunteers quickly coming to help, scenery is dull, although at the same time great to run on the race track, but overall a good race.

In short: Great race and course, massive PB potential if not windy! I've done this the last 3 years and enjoyed everyone.

In short: Enjoyable day out
In full: It was my first HM and I truly enjoyed it. The weather was awful but the whole thing was well-organized and the marshals did a great job :) The memory of completing my first HM kept me grinning all week.

In short: Extraordinary Weather, Great Vibe
In full: I like this race, even with the terrible weather this year. I found this race to be much more friendly and better organised than the club-organised event I took part in earlier in the year. The general vibe was less elite and snobby than at club events for those of us who have no desire to join a club.

The lack of mile markers/clocks did seem to make the pace bands useless, but presume some of them were missing due to the high winds.
I managed to get the one faulty chip , but thanks to the organisers that has been rectified and I have an accurate time within 7 days of the race finishing.

I managed to get another PB despite the weather and feel I can now run in anything as this was the most extreme weather conditions I have ever raced in.

No problems with parking in the morning as we got there early, can't really complain about getting out, it is as bad getting out of the NEC after a gig. It is a common problem where you have a large gathering of people all wanting to leave at the same time.
I will be back next year for another pb and to see what Silverstone can fling at me.
And I'm another one who beat Nigel Mansell at Sivlerstone:)

In short: ideal venue for first imer like myself !
In full: Was excited to be running at the Home of British Motor Racing, having last visited the circuit in 1987 when 'Our own Nige' took the chequered flag at The British Grand Prix. Race conditions were awful, but for me preferable to running in soaring temperatures in June/July. Organisation first class, and will definitely return next year. My only criticism is that there is no mention of dogs not being allowed within the circuit complex, I realise that this isn't something within the race organisers control but it might be helpful for next year to state that dogs aren't allowed ! Supporters of mine had to return their dog back to their car after she was refused entry.

In short: boring and sooooo cold!
In full: Well-organised and was expecting it to be a lot more exciting than it was. Not much in the way of spectator encouragement though well done to the marshals in that weather.
Not much chat amongst the runners - wish I'd brought my iPod to listen to!
Main problem was getting thorougly chilled and took so long to get home to a hot bath I am now suffering from a bad cold and my training for the real thing is being curtailed...
I won't be doing this one again!

In short: It's always windy there but flat track makes it a fast race but snow combining with the wind did slow it down this year.
In full: Well organised event and flat fast course to enjoy. Scenery absolutely nothing to write home about as you are not really aware where you are on the track apart from start/finish. Weather made it rather unpleasant at times but still a very worthwhile event and excellent warm up for the Big One on the 22nd.

In short: And here is the latest weather forecast
In full: Well, what a race. I thought it had taken me a year to run this half marathon with the hail, sleet, snow and a little sun. For my first half I did enjoy this race. Well done to all that organised it and to get cramp in both legs 100m before the finish just when they were just about to take my photo's isn't funny. I will be back next year.

In short: weather!
In full: 2nd time I've done this race and it was still good - I managed to knock 11 minutes off my time from last year so I was very pleased. The weather was interesting though - sun, gales, hale - 3 seasons in one day. And as a motorsport fan, I really appreciate the opportunity to run round the Silverstone track.
