In short: Nicely organised. Online race entry worked well for me no probs collecting race number. Forgot my safety pins and registration tent had run out. Tough race esspecially last long hill at about 8Km. Rain soaked kit added about 10stone to me!

In short: good sense of acheivement given the conditions.
In full: First 10k race, hills were very challenging not helped by the atrocious weather! Glad I took part and it was well organised. Really impressive pud!

In short: Cold, wet and windy
In full: Well done Heanor for pulling off a well organised event in terrible weather conditions. marshalls deserve a medal for standing around cheering us on. Better course than the 'old' one, thought it was less hilly and ceratinly not as muddy. Will definately be back next year as a PB was achieved, despite finishing a lot heavier than when I started. The pud looks great though and will be on show at Christmas. thanks

In short: Excellent race. Unfortunately, can't say the same about the weather!!
In full: Been a few years since I've run this race. New course did not disappoint and most of the marshalls were in a cheery spirit despite the weather. Unfortunately, the weather spoilt things a bit with nobody hanging around too long after the race. Quality pudding. Will be back next year.

In short: Great fun race, a few hilly bits, happy cheerful marshalls despite the shocking weather! Christmas Pudding loads better than a cr*py t-shirt!

In short: Good new course, excellent marshals, lack of facilities at the start
In full: I really liked the old course but thought this had a lot of potential. Fantastic job by all the marshalls in terrible conditions (I couldn't feel my fingers for the first 6K and I was moving!) Bad weather highlighted the lack of facilities at the start - well done Heanor RC.

In short: my first 10k race. Marshalls very supportive especially on the steep hills,, well done to them considering the freezing rainy conditions.
