In short: The name says it all (except it should be Suicide 6.5ish)
In full: Did Hartshill Heartbreaker on this day last year, and have had 12 months arguing with my mate which was the better/harder. I now concede he was right!! Great fun, killer hills, sapping mud, and the stairs... Marshalls were great, although water feature was a bit lame. Definately do it again.

In short: One of the great races of the year
In full: I Never miss the suicide, lots & lots of mud ,great atmos. Start was a little haphazard this year though its not normally. Original momento. The weather was a bit of a killer it took me until monday to thaw out especially after the water crossing!. Another good year and thanks to organisers for all their hard work. I will be back next year.

In short: Tremendous Fun - A Must Do Race!
In full: It was cold, wet, muddy and a very challenging course but this race was excellent fun and well worth coming down from Sheffield for. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The start was a little bit disorganised but apart from that everything else was first class. Easy car-parking, the marshalls were very supportive and good momento at the end.

This race really makes a change from the standard 'on the road' 10K (especially the water feature and the steps) and I'd recommend it to anyone.

In short: Thank you Marshals
In full: Cold, wet, muddy - great race. Well organised - a bit chaotic at the start, but just added to the fun. didn't actually realise how cold it was while running the race - just had to snap the rest of the family (spectating) apart at the finish

In short: Very well organised race
In full: Very cold very wet and very muddy! Very well organised race as always! Great momento, although got an identical one at the 10k in Reepham in Norfolk in August! Huge round of applause to the marshalls, fantastic! Especially the young lad on the steps at the end and the lady at the gate after the water feature. All in all very tough and a great race. Though according to the results at the end only 663 took part, shame on the 87 who failed to turn up on this over subscribed event! I had to drive back to Norfolk afer it and my partner to Sheffield so the weather is no excuse! All in all Im glowing at the fact I finished, by the way its the Norwich Half Marathon on the 2/12 if you want an easier challenge sign up for that, great event and no hills!

In short: Steps, mud, hills, rain ... and sleet!
In full: Really good fun! Great atmosphere. Huge thanks to the marshalls who were standing in the cold and wet just to pick us up out of the mud. Really great race.

In short: Love It!!
In full: Cold, windy, sleety, so verrrry muddy and fantastic fun! Managed to stay vertical but must get some trail shoes. Absolutely love the glass hologram memento - beats the standard t-shirt/medal.
