In short: Flat, rural course with excellent marshalling but not enough toilets! In full: This is a good course, flat and fast as advertised. However, there were not enough toilets and having to queue on arrival to get chips seemed silly rather than sending them out in the post.
The marshalling on the course was superb, well laid out and friendly supportive marshalls. However, there were a lot of people bunched up at the finishing line which may need to be improved.
It's not cheap to enter but you do get a medal, T shirt and fruit at the end which was nice. Overall, a good race with only some minor downsides. Date of review: March 15, 2010
In short: Surprised no one else commented about the cars. I was put off pace twice. In full: I think one of the cars I had a problem with was a family trying to get another picture of Mummy running on Mothers Day !
Great race though, one of my favourites. Date of review: March 14, 2010
In short: I had heard so much about the fadley 10k and it has lived up to reputation i did approx 44.40 and enjoyed and so did all of us from Sneyd Striders... Great day although exspensive Date of review: March 14, 2010
In short: Too dear, not enough loos, too tight at the beginning but has PB potential In full: Not a fan of 2 lap courses and wouldn't have done this again if it wasn't part of a training plan for something longer. Far, far too expensive although this year didn't get the paperweight but a medal (florette advert with fradley 10k 2010 written on it), fruit of the loom t-shirt, banana, water and the best bit was a fruit thingy by florette (this was nice after the race, so thank you to the sponsors for this - I will wear the medal now to say thank you). The race itself is very busy at the beginning with a strange start where you loop back over the bridge, it soon starts to spread out at about 2k. I heard others commenting on the markers and my garmin didn't match (though I doubt it ever will given that I never run the optimum route). It definitely has PB potential written all over it (make sure you have a clear start), but this was my 2nd year where the wind has played a part - its wind with for half the race and wind against for the rest. On a still day ......... Date of review: March 14, 2010
