In short: Surprised no one else commented about the cars. I was put off pace twice.
In full: I think one of the cars I had a problem with was a family trying to get another picture of Mummy running on Mothers Day !

Great race though, one of my favourites.

In short: Too dear, not enough loos, too tight at the beginning but has PB potential
In full: Not a fan of 2 lap courses and wouldn't have done this again if it wasn't part of a training plan for something longer. Far, far too expensive although this year didn't get the paperweight but a medal (florette advert with fradley 10k 2010 written on it), fruit of the loom t-shirt, banana, water and the best bit was a fruit thingy by florette (this was nice after the race, so thank you to the sponsors for this - I will wear the medal now to say thank you).
The race itself is very busy at the beginning with a strange start where you loop back over the bridge, it soon starts to spread out at about 2k. I heard others commenting on the markers and my garmin didn't match (though I doubt it ever will given that I never run the optimum route).
It definitely has PB potential written all over it (make sure you have a clear start), but this was my 2nd year where the wind has played a part - its wind with for half the race and wind against for the rest. On a still day .........

In short: Enjoyed the run - thanks everyone
In full: This was the first time I had done this event - I don't do many road races but this was in our club Grand Prix so it had to be done. I was put off by it being advertised as flat, but there were a few inclines so it was not too bad. It was a shame about all the queues - for chips, loos and then, at the end, for T shirts and drinks. The weather was kind today - but it would have been a bit miserable in the rain.
