In short: Well organised, enjoyable day out
In full: I've run this a couple of times before, as Fleet is my local race, being a resident of the town. The new course is much better, especially the location of the start. No jumping over streams or traipsing through muddy paths! I also liked running through the centre of town twice. Huge amounts of support round the course, especially in town. This put a big smile on my face and gave a huge boost.
I also like the fact the very last bit of the race was downhill, exactly what you need.
This race was a bargain compared to the rip-off Reading half. I'll be back next year.

Well done to Penny and all the organising team, well done. Thank you.

In short: When does 2012 open for entries ?
In full: The new route is great, good fun to do the High Street twice & enjoy tonnes of support. Even on the more rural bits of the course, the support was excellent. Really great race overall, midly challenging. Very well marshalled and organised, ran like clockwork.
Definately will be back in 2012.

In short: Third time lucky and a pb for 2011! Liked the new start, quite a few hills this year (especially at the end), the final hill leads to a great decline at the end. Not sure about 2 laps of the high street but love the scenic parts.

In short: Very well organised and fantastic support from the locals. Really like this years route, better starting point and 2 laps of the high street. Also, the finish seemed much easier than last year!

In short: Tougher Course than expected.. Good.
In full: Good value race on the same day as the Reading Half Rip-Off. Nice medal and a banana, lots of water stations and a tough ol' course - Some good challenging hills and good fun down the high street - Damn good for £16.

In short: Big Events like Bath could learn from this!
In full: Everything you want - easy (free) parking near the start, restricted numbers to prevent (too much) congestion, nice course, great support from the town!
I too was surprised by the 'undulations' (although they WERE metioned on RW, AND I've done this event before duh!)
For the money I felt the medal/banana/water were ample and you could also but a t if you felt the need. Really DO wish the bigger events like Bath would take a leaf out of Fleet's book - and listen to what the RUNNERS say. Well done Fleet and Crookham
