In short: Great marshalls v. friendly even enjoyed the rain
In full: Thanks to the marshalls who had to hang around for us plodders at the back. Changing/refreshment facilities were pretty good.

In short: Terrible weather which was made tolerable by the friendly marshalls
In full: Nice race but not as flat as advertised (put it this way I wouldn't park my car on the course without the hand brake on!)

In short: Quick, Well Organised, Friendly Race
In full: This is without doubt a quick and well organised race. The marshalling is excellent, the atmosphere is friendly and there are more than adequate changing and parking facilities. Also, there is the bonus of the tes, coffee, chocolate, sandwiches for sale afterwards, oh, and a nice medal at the end.

I only have two things to comment about, it would have been nice to have had a clock at the finish line showing the race time. Secondly, is it not possible to stop people driving out of the car park until the race is over? I know there is a large gap in abilities of runners, but everyone pays the same entry fee. You don't see 7 or 8 cars trying to get out of the finishing straight when the first few runners are finishing, so why is it acceptable to do this when the last few are finishing. I find this very rude and insulting. I always stay to the end to cheer on the last of the runners, (finished in approx 70 mins) and had an hours drive home, and if we can do this, so can others!

Will be back next year though.

In short: running in a residential area not necessarily ideal but was OK. Lack of clock at finish line was a disappointment!
