In short: Garmin says 10.6k but still a PB.
In full: Lots of additional extras - bananas, muscle rub, drinks, etc. Good entertainment for spectators waiting for runners coming back to the stadium.

In short: Good, quick course but poorly organised start
In full: Second time I've done this and I ran a pb so I like the course, especially the finish in the stadium. However, the start is poorly organised, the marshalls need to be more directive with such a large amount of competitors.

In short: shame about the baggage area not being secure otherwise another good morning racing.
In full: 2nd time i'd competed in this race course better than last year only other fault was waiting like a herd of cattle to collect water and hand in chip etc. Apart fraom that managed a p.b. fantastic! Even the kids joined in by completing in the funrun

In short: Excellent race, well organised
In full: First time I'd done this one and really enjoyed it. Impressed by organisation but agree with other comments on non-secure baggage area. Being close to station it could be ideal for those from Nottingham, Long Eaton etc to get there by train but need good baggage areas in this case. Route was a bit twisty and the narrow bit between the bus station and the courts was unfortunate (and not very well marshalled) so faster runners had to squeeze past the masses going in the other direction.
All in all a good day out, nice t-shirt and chip timing too.

In short: Got a pb despite the crowds
In full: Well I got a pb, so I'm happy. However it was very crowded, I did elbow a good few people (not intentionally!) and had to slow down to let the fasties pass by the bus station!

An additional water station at 8k, by the river would be very welcome!

Stadium finish is fantastic!

2nd time I've done this and I'll definitely do it again.

In short: very well organised, and enjoyed the stadium finish
In full: Really enjoyable race. I thought the organisation was excellent (only gripe was lack of secure baggage area). Some of the paths were a bit narrow, but overall I enjoyed the route.
